HLCU, HLXU and HLBU are house codes; UACU and UAEU arrived with United Arab Shipping Company, absorbed in the 2017 merger; and HAMU is the troublemaker — aggregators routinely file it under HMM because the letters look Korean-adjacent, but the register is unambiguous that it belongs to Hapag-Lloyd.
